Erin Art Design: Local Pittsburgh Artist

When decorating any space I think artwork is the most important part! You can plan a whole room around one piece that really inspires you. I found a really talented local Pittsburgh artist, Erin, that does custom paintings to glam up any space. 

What really stands out to me is her use of color on each piece. I love how bright & vibrant they are! One of her specialties is creating custom abstract paintings for home decor. Customers can send a photo of their decor, or choose colors they really like, and Erin will create something unique to their space! Perfect if you are re-decorating or moving into a new home. Plus custom wall art is a fun conversation starter when people come over. 

I also LOVE that she does pet portraits. I mean we all know how beyond obsessed I am with my Frenchie, so why not hang them as a statement piece on your wall? Erin has a Frenchie too named Capone!

Fall Floral Romper

It's officially August! That means we're already starting to see Halloween decor at all the stores along with fall fashion on the shelves. Soon it means Pumpkin EVERYTHING! I don't mind, but sometimes I feel like stores rush you through holidays. You can't even enjoy the one you're in because they already have the next two holidays out! 

Anyways, I've started to look for transitional pieces for fall to add into my wardrobe. I mean how ADORABLE is this grey floral romper from Gracie Lane Boutique?! The first absolute win about this romper is that it has quarter length sleeves, which makes it perfect for August and September! It also mixes in neutrals with color which I'm all about. I definitely have a very colorful wardrobe.  

Here I've paired it with booties, tassel earrings & a leopard clutch. In the fall I would do close toed short booties and an open knit cardigan! This romper is super comfy and perfect for weekend shopping or a date night. I'm wearing a size Medium for reference. Gamiss Oh Deer

I tend to be super festive for every holiday whether it's in my outfits or decorating the house. When I spotted this deer sweater on Gamiss with the little red nose, I was instantly obsessed. It's obviously for the holiday season but you can grab it up for next year for less than $15! I wore this a few times while I was home for Christmas because it's super comfortable and easy to throw on with jeans & boots. This is a one-size item so it may fit differently depending on your body type. The sequin detail adds to the whimsical side of it! I can't wait to wear it again next December. Processing time will be about 3 days for this item & I would allow 7 shipping days! I love buying things after the season is over to save for next year, because you forget about it & then it's like a surprise when you pull it back out!

You can never have too many coats, especially after you wear the same one day after day. I like to mix it up depending on my mood, outfit or weather. This shawl collar gray coat is perfect for those in between days when the weather isn't terribly cold. I love the fur collar & the zipper detailing on the sides. I would wear this out for drinks with friends because if the bar is cold, it's still a chic addition to your outfit. One of my biggest pet peeves is when a coat ruins your outfit, so I tend to go without one if that's the case. I love how this one is super cute, so it only adds to what you're wearing instead of taking away from it! I sized up so that I could wear bigger sweaters underneath without a problem. Zaful - Champagne Party

The holidays are right around the corner, and to me that means lots of parties! So many cocktails to drink this holiday season. Today I've teamed up with Zaful to share a fun party look you can wear at your next get together!

How fabulous is this I heart Champagne sweater?! Clearly the perfect party sweater, I mean who doesn't love champagne? I like my sweaters a little looser, so I sized up to have room. It's nice that the fabric isn't super thick, meaning you won't get too warm if you're in a small room full of people. It's also a conversation starter! I paired it with jeans & over the knee boots, but you could dress it up with black skinnys & high heeled booties.

I am all about the fur. Fur vests literally have their own section in my closet, so how could I say no to this PINK fur vest. It definitely adds the finishing touch on this party outfit. I also sized up in the vest so that I could put thicker sweaters underneath. The faux fur is super soft and reminds me of the outfits they wear in the show Scream Queens! If you haven't seen that show you need to look up the outfits these girls wear. Totally channeling one of the characters, Chanel, with this outfit.

Gamiss ~ Winter Brights

I've teamed up with Gamiss to share some winter brights! Gamiss is an online clothing store with contemporary & trendy fashion apparel. They always have great sales going on so definitely check it out!

This Blue & Orange sweater reminds me of a varsity cheerleading sweater. It is a classic, preppy piece. The best part.. it's super affordable! I've paired it with jeans & over the knee boots to complete the look. I wore it over the weekend to do some shopping & I didn't even need a coat because it was thick enough. The v-neck detailing allows you to show off a cute necklace to finish off the outfit. It is a "one-size" fits all item, but it was loose enough on me to be comfy. I also added this pearl openwork ring for some flair.

Make a statement in this turquoise blue coat! The color is what caught my eye on the site because I love when people have bright winter wear. It is faux fur lined, making it extra warm for those cold nights. I'm wearing a size medium, but I would recommend sizing up so you can add extra layers underneath. The length of the coat is also ideal to create extra warmth. Another way to layer is by adding a scarf. This plaid tassel scarf is so thick & soft! I wore it to pick out our Christmas Tree over the weekend & it definitely kept me warm while still looking fashionable. It comes in so many different colors & is super inexpensive. The perfect stocking stuffer for the holidays!

With winter quickly approaching I've been adding sweaters and long cardigan pieces to my wardrobe. Today I am collaborating with StyleWe.com to share a few outfit inspirations!

At the beginning of November I traveled to Arizona to visit a few of my best friends from high school. This green cardigan was perfect for the plane ride! I was able to throw it on over a tank top so when I got to AZ I wasn't hot, but it kept me warm on the plane ride over. Below I've paired it with a grey tee, jeans & green booties. The sizing is "one size" but fit oversized for me. I love the length because it will keep you super cozy in the wintertime!

This wool blend coat is unlike anything I already have in my closet. The coloring is red & navy with gold roping detail. It definitely makes a statement & is easy to dress up or down. Here I've paired it with a gray turtle neck sweater & jeans, but it would look great with a dress too! This coat is also a "one size" fit, but there is definitely enough room to pair a sweater underneath.

Autumn Lovin with Dezzal

It is finally starting to feel like fall, but I really can't believe we are halfway through October! This season has gone by so quickly which is sad because fall fashion is my favorite. I probably own at least 6 or 7 blanket scarves, countless boots, vests.. you name it for fall I have it.

I loved the opportunity to team up with Dezzal to pick out a few fall items for my closet! The first item I picked was this Black Cold Shoulder Sweater. This sweater was only $45 making it super affordable to add to your fall collection. I've already worn it a few times because the knit is super soft & easy to throw on with anything. The cutouts on the shoulder make it perfect for a date or night out at the bars. I also love how lightweight this top is which really does make it ideal for those nights out. With the black you can really pair it with anything to dress it up or down. They also have a cream color if you wanted something lighter. I recommend sizing up for a looser look!

The next item that screamed fall was this Mustard Yellow Turtleneck Sweater.  This item is also under $50! I was immediately drawn to the color & I always love chunky sweaters for this time of year. The zipper detailing on the side also makes it unique. I was excited because it matched my cheetah booties perfectly! This top comes in a variety of colors including: black, cream, olive green & maroon. With this sweater I would also recommend sizing up. The material is thick so it will definitely keep you warm on those chilly fall nights. 

The shipping time for both items was about 10 to 14 days, which is amazing for international items. It was nice that I received shipment updates on my phone and was able to choose if I needed someone to sign for the package or not. You also receive amazing customer service from Dezzal! They definitely want you to find the right items for your style. The "find my size" feature on the site makes it simple to know which size you should go with.
