Primp Prints- The Perfect Bridal Shower Gift

Wedding season is getting into full swing so I am always on the lookout for cute unique gifts for my friends! I love adding something unique in addition to whatever they registered for. So when I saw these CUTE recipe illustrations from Primp Prints I was sold!

Primp Prints is a kitchen accessories and gift brand! Blair the owner and artist creates one of a kind illustrations that are actually recipes you can follow. They are also a super fun and colorful piece to brighten any kitchen!

The print I received was the blueberry muffin 8x10. I absolutely love how bright this one is! The blue definitely goes with the accents in my kitchen. To hang it up I just grabbed a turquoise frame from Michaels. Any of her recipe illustrations would make such a cute bridal shower gift to add in with all the kitchen goodies they registered for.

Kay K Couture Jewelry

So we went from beautiful weather last weekend, to snow on and off this week! I still haven't switched my closet because it's been so unpredictable. Just dreaming of springtime and hoping it gets here soon!

I obviously love making a statement through my outfits but especially with jewelry! You will most definitely always see me rocking a huge pair of statement earrings. That's why I had a blast styling these jewels from Kay K Couture Jewelry!

These turquoise beaded statement earrings add the perfect pop of color to any outfit! Here I paired them with a dress and a leather jacket. I think these would be so cute with a simple v neck tee and ripped jeans to dress it up! They are only $22.99 and they also come in Blush, Gold, Pink, Silver, Violet and Black! 

The other pair of statement earrings I styled were the Gypsy Blues Tassels. Obviously tassels are my signature but the geometric shapes add so much dimension! These are perfect for your summer vaca! Plus they are on sale right now for only $14.99. 

This Stone Wave Cluster necklace I paired with a simple blue dress. The blues and greens are so pretty together. It reminds me of some J.Crew jewels! This necklace would also be super cute with a blouse or just a graphic tee! And for only $9.99 it's a must!

Violet Skye Boutique

Happy Sunday loves! I've been decluttering all day and it feels SO GOOD to throw things away. You never realize how much randomness you have until you start opening drawers and cabinets. With all this spring cleaning I am still waiting for the spring weather to reach Pittsburgh! On Saturday we woke up to a little dusting of snow. Literally insane! 

While I wait for it to warm up I've been doing some spring outfit planning in the meantime to get me into a warm weather mindset! I played dress up a few weekends ago with a couple items from Violet Skye Boutique! Also shoutout to Mandie for taking these pictures for me in 30 degree weather! We were running back to the car to warm up between outfit changes. 

The first item I styled was this super pretty red floral top! The sleeves hit 3/4 length and they have a little tie detailing at the end. It's extremely versatile to dress up or down. Here I've paired it with some light wash fringe jeans and nude wedges for a more casual look. I would wear this to dinner and drinks! If you want to dress it up a little more you could pair it with white pants and peep toe heels. For size reference I'm wearing a medium. 

The second item I styled was this belle sleeved navy floral dress! I love the pops of color against the navy. Here I styled it with some tassel earrings and peep toe booties! Springtime means lots of bridal and baby showers which this dress would be perfect for. I'm wearing a size medium for reference.

Footloose - Shop at the Galleria

When I first moved to Pittsburgh 3 years ago one of my sorority sisters who grew up here introduced me to the Galleria. I met her there for lunch and coffee one afternoon! It has stores like Anthropology, Pottery Barn and Janie/Jack. For all my local Pittsburghers it's located out in the South Hills near South Hills Village Mall.

I love the atmosphere inside the shopping center! It's quaint and the perfect place to spend an afternoon or evening. I was so excited to do some try ons last month at a local boutique called Footloose!

Footloose is an upscale Women's boutique that has a variety of shoes, clothes and accessories. All the best brands! Including Hudson Jeans, Sunday's tops and Tom Ford sunnies. The owner and staff were super helpful picking out the latest styles and what pieces to pair them with! 

Here are some of the new spring arrivals I tried on:

 

Pants: Sundry // Top: Bobi // Sneakers: Khrio

For this lounge look I love these floral printed sweatpants, paired with a simple top and metallic sneakers. The cropped sweatpants are super comfy and have such a vibrant print. They even have a raw edged detail on the bottom. This is the perfect look to run errands because you still look polished!

This outfit was definitely my favorite! The top is lightweight and perfect to transition into spring. It looks super cute paired with these ripped hem white jeans, but it would also go with cutoff shorts. The neutral wedges have little tassels that tie around the back of the ankle. They also have the cutest sunglasses and bags finish off the look.

With so many weddings coming up this summer, this Trina Turk dress and nude heel combo is perfect! This color makes such a statement and would look nice on any skin tone. A nude heel is a must for any spring/summer look.

I was immediately drawn to these jeans because of the stripe down the side! They also have a raw hem cutoff at the bottom which makes them perfect to pair with wedges or sandals. This gray jacket is another great transitional piece into spring. I love the button detailing!
